Azerbaijan announces number of marriages and divorces registered this year

The district (city) registration departments of the Ministry of Justice registered 45,321 marriages and 11,819 divorces in January-September of this year, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

Compared to the corresponding period of 2021, the number of marriages per 1,000 people increased from 5.5 to 6.0, while the number of divorces decreased from 1.7 to 1.6.
