"It is good that signals are coming from Russia that the war will be over. We haven't seen them for two years. Plans to occupy Ukraine for three days and change the government did not come true. We cannot trust Russia after this bloody war. We do not keep secrets, we openly say them," President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said, Report informs.
Regarding whether to make any concessions for the sake of peace in negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Zelensky noted that his country is currently at war: "After this war, we don't want another one. The security of Ukraine must be ensured in agreements."
Zelensky noted that Ukraine has good relations with Poland: "Many Ukrainian citizens live in Poland. Our compatriots also live in Romania and Moldova. We have good relations with other neighbors. During the war, we learned who is a friend and who is a foe."
He stressed that the Ukrainian people have become more united during the current war.
"We know 100 percent that we will win, but we do not know when this will happen. Our diplomats are trying to bring peace to the region," Zelensky said.
