US Secretary of State comments on Trump's statement on Turkey

Baku. 14 January. REPORT.AZ/ "I think that Donald Trump talked about sanctions like measures," US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo said during a visit to Saudi Arabia while commenting on Trump's post on Twitter regarding possible sanctions against Turkey.
Report informs citing Hurriyet that he said Trump did not change his mind regarding troops pullout from Syria and they were studying ways to establish the security zone in this country and protect the Syrian border.
Notably, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said that the Turkish side considers it wrong that Donald Trump made statements and voiced threats in such a way.
US President Donald Trump threatened Turkey with economic sanctions.
