Turkiye successfully tests new UAV

The Turkish Baykar company has successfully tested the Bayraktar vertical takeoff and landing drone, Report informs, citing Anadolu Agency.
Tests related to raising the UAV to a height of 8000 feet have been completed.
The UAV, which is planned to be launched this year, has the capabilities of autonomous and semi-autonomous flight, as well as autonomous takeoff and landing.
The tactical drone also performs surveillance and reconnaissance tasks.
