Türkiye, Belgium discuss Europe's energy security

Türkiye's Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar has discussed Europe's energy security with Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot.
Report informs that Bayraktar wrote about this on X.
"We met with Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot and his delegation and discussed the security of Europe's energy supply, new needs arising from global disruptions in the energy transition process, as well as potential areas of cooperation between Türkiye and Belgium," he said.
According to Bayraktar, the meeting outlined a multidimensional approach covering all sectors, from renewable energy and natural gas to nuclear energy and domestic hydrocarbon production.
"With an open approach to partnerships that strengthen supply security, focus on technologies and create long-term value, we are working to develop international cooperation in the energy sector on a more advanced basis," he noted.
Bayraktar added that Türkiye attaches great importance to deepening mutual dialogue between the two countries with more concrete areas of cooperation in the coming period.
