Turkish army seizes record number of weapons, ammunition

As a result of the information provided by two surrendered terrorists, the Turkish Armed Forces seized 467 unused AK-47 assault rifles and a large amount of ammunition in the Al Zab region of Iraq, Report informs, citing the Ministry of National Defense of Türkiye.
In addition, one 7.62 mm PKMS machine gun, 56 RPG-7 anti-personnel ammunition, 314 hand grenades, 2 machine gun barrels, and 146 AK-47 rifle combs were seized.
According to information, this is a record number of rounds of ammunition seized at one time in recent times.
