The situation in Armenia's National Assembly (NA) became tense after the remarks by deputy speaker Ishkhan Saghatelyan from the opposition "Armenia" Faction, Report informs, citing Aysor.
He criticized the Armenian government and called on the political majority to agree with the truth and not suppress the opposition. After that, a brawl broke out between the deputies of the ruling faction and the opposition.
Subsequently, Alen Simonyan called security officers in military uniform to the NA Sessions' Hall and then turned off the live broadcast.
