Russian MFA official reveals obstacles to Azerbaijan's CSTO membership

"The doors of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) must be open to all countries, including Azerbaijan," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko told journalists, as quoted by Report.
Referring to the point that could hinder Azerbaijan's membership, he said: "The fact is that according to the organization's charter, there must be diplomatic relations between member states. At present, there is no such connection between official Baku and Yerevan."
