Russia's COVID-19 death toll exceeds 17,500

Russia confirmed 4,995 new coronavirus cases in a day bringing the country's official number to 1,009,995, Report says.

According to the Operational Headquarters, Russia's death toll reached 17,528, as 114 others died over the past day.

As many as 826,935 patients were discharged from Russian hospitals since the beginning of the pandemic.
