Russia's COVID-19 cases approach 1 million

Russia confirmed 4,993 new coronavirus cases in a day bringing the country's official number to 995,319, Report says.

According to the Operational Headquarters, Russia's death toll reached 17,176, as 83 others died over the past day.

As many as 809,387 patients were discharged from Russian hospitals since the beginning of the pandemic.
