Quake kills 5 people in Tajikistan

A magnitude 5.9 earthquake has occurred in the north of Tajikistan, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), Report informs.
The earthquake was recorded at 02:14 UTC. The epicenter was located 169 kilometers southeast of the city of Khujand. The hearth lay at a depth of 40 kilometers.
Later, information appeared about five people killed as a result of the earthquake.
