Putin to visit China on May 16-17

Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to China on May 16-17 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, according to the Kremlin press service, Report informs referring to TASS.
“At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to the People’s Republic of China on May 16-17, 2024, as his first foreign trip after taking office,” reads the statement.
Putin and Xi Jinping will hold negotiations, and documents are planned to be signed as a result. They will also take part in a ceremony to mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the opening of the Years of Culture of the two countries.
