Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a conversation with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has confirmed Russia's readiness to provide the necessary assistance for the safe evacuation of Turkish citizens from the combat areas in Ukraine, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.
"Vladimir Putin has confirmed the readiness of the Russian side to provide all necessary assistance for the safe evacuation of Turkish citizens from the areas of hostilities," the Kremlin said in a statement.
