Pashinyan interrogated as witness in criminal case on treason

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has been interrogated as a witness in a criminal case initiated on grounds of high treason, Argishti Kyaramyan, chairman of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, said in parliament today, Report informs via Aysor.am.
"The prime minister was interrogated as a witness," Kyaramyan said.
On April 18, Pashinyan announced that he had been interrogated as part of this case, but did not indicate in what status.
Earlier it was reported that the prime minister would appear before a commission to investigate the causes and circumstances of the 44-day war.
The commission was established in February 2022, at the initiative of the ruling majority (Civil Contract faction).
On May 3, it came out that the activities of the temporary commission of the Armenian Parliament to investigate the circumstances of the 44-day war will be extended for another six months.
