Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed peace and stability in the South Caucasus with EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos in Yerevan, Report informs via Armenpress.
The Prime Minister welcomed Kos's visit to Armenia and highly appreciated the active and ongoing Armenia-European Union dialogue. Nikol Pashinyan thanked the EU for its consistent support, emphasizing that it plays an important role in the implementation of the Armenian government's ambitious reform agenda.
Commissioner Marta Kos noted that the EU highly values the peace-building process in the region, which will contribute to the further development and deepening of cooperation.
The interlocutors discussed the priorities of the Armenia-EU partnership, upcoming tasks and opportunities for deepening cooperation.
The parties expressed their willingness to continue close cooperation aimed at strengthening Armenia's democratic institutions, promoting economic growth, and maintaining peace and stability in the region.
