One of missing Armenian servicemen dies

One of the two previously missing servicemen of Armenia’s Jermuk military unit has died, according to the press service of the Defense Ministry, Report informs referring to Armenian media.

After the soldiers were found, Karen Shakhnazaryan was taken to the hospital, and Aghasi Hovhannisyan died.

Earlier, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported that on March 21, in a severe blizzard, communication with two contract servicemen was lost when moving from one combat post to another.

In the evening of the same day, it became known that the whereabouts of the two soldiers had been established, and the work was underway to evacuate them.
