Numan Kurtulmus: World needs a new security system

The world needs a new security system, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Numan Kurtulmus, said during his speech at the opening of the new academic year of the Karadeniz Technical University, Report informs.

He said that the West already admits this: "However, many years ago, when President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said 'the world is bigger than five', they did not want to accept us."

Kurtulmus added that the UN Security Council can no longer perform its functions.
