Markov: Anti-Russian demonstrations in Yerevan cause outrage in Moscow

Anti-Russian demonstrations in Yerevan are causing great outrage in Moscow, Russian political scientist, director of the Center for Political Research Sergei Markov told Report's Russian bureau.
“These statements, in which the Armenians accuse Russia of hostility, are a lie. For hundreds of thousands of Armenians, the Russian soldier was a savior, therefore the attacks on Russia in Yerevan are slander,” the Russian political scientist said.
In his opinion, this speaks of Armenia’s ingratitude.
On November 9, a rally of many thousands of people for severing ties with Moscow took place in Yerevan. It was organized by the National Democratic Party of Armenia. The main demand of the rally was the termination of allied relations with Russia.
