After Ukraine, Russia will attack Moldova, Kazakhstan, and Georgia, the former president of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma told BBC.
In his opinion, not Lithuania or Poland but the post-Soviet republics outside NATO may face the greatest danger: "Allusions to Moldova and North Kazakhstan have become commonplace, and now Georgia is also mentioned in this context. After all, Russia only sometimes attacks those weaker than it."
Kuchma also said that Russia is not capable of directly challenging NATO. According to the former president, if Ukraine endures, then Russia will not attack other post-Soviet countries.
