Kremlin: "Meeting between Putin and Jinping is extremely important"

"A video meeting summit to be held between the Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping is extremely important," Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, Report informs, citing TASS.

He said that Russia and China are allies on international issues: "The meeting is expected to discuss international issues, as well as energy issues with the aggressive rhetoric of NATO and the United States in the background."

The online meeting between the presidents will be held on December 15.
