Kosachev thinks Istanbul meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy is not possible

The meeting to be held in Istanbul on May 15 is expected to be attended by technical and expert-level negotiators from Russia and Ukraine, Russian Vice Speaker Konstantin Kosachev said, Report informs.
According to Kosachev, for the first time in three years, they will be able to directly understand what prospects there are for moving towards a lasting peace, "not some mythical ceasefire."
Referring to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's statement that he was ready to meet the Russian leader in person in Istanbul, Kosachev noted that "the highest-level meetings are absolutely not organized in this way, especially in such a complex situation."
