Japarov: Bishkek and Ankara propose creating special OTS council on combating crime

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov announced a joint initiative by Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye to establish a special council within the Organization of Turkic States focused on combating crime.

According to Report's correspondent from Turkistan, Japarov made the statement during the informal OTS summit.

According to him, the initiative provides for the launch of a digital international wanted system and information exchange among Turkic states.

Japarov also stressed the importance of the draft agreement on the mutual recognition of electronic signatures, calling it a significant step toward creating a unified digital space among Turkic countries.

The president also recalled that the 6th World Nomad Games will be held in Kyrgyzstan in September and invited heads of state and their delegations to actively participate in the upcoming games.
