The emergency meeting of NATO heads of state and government began at a tense time, Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin said on Twitter, Report informs.
"Turkiye's initiatives under the leadership of our President to end the war in Ukraine and ensure security continue," he tweeted.
