The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has recorded craters from penetrating munitions at the site of the Iranian nuclear facility in Fordow, which was bombed by the US Air Force, and it is currently impossible to assess the damage to the underground infrastructure, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said at the opening of an emergency meeting of the agency's Board of Governors, Report informs.
"At the Fordow site, Iran's main facility for enriching uranium to 60%, craters are now visible, which indicates the use of penetrating munitions, which is consistent with US statements. At this point, no one, including the IAEA, is able to assess the damage underground," he said.
Grossi also said that buildings, including those where uranium was processed, were damaged as a result of the US strike on the Iranian nuclear facility in Isfahan.
