Georgia receives next batch of AstraZeneca vaccine

Georgia has stocked another batch of 43,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine, which is intended for those who receive the first dose, Report informs.
More than 25,000 people have already received the first dose of AstraZeneca in Georgia, and another 100,000 have registered to be vaccinated. The country will start to administer the second dose on May 10.
Georgia is expected to get additional 43,000 doses in the middle of this month.
The first batch of AstraZeneca was delivered to Georgia on March 13.
Georgia started to use AstraZeneca on March 15, Pfizer on March 30, and Sinopharm on May 4.
