First snow in Tbilisi

Weather conditions have changed dramatically in Georgia, the Georgian Service of Report informs.

The first snow began to fall in Tbilisi last night.

Enormous traffic jams have formed in some areas of the capital.

The snowy weather created problems not only for Tbilisi but also for the residents of the regions. In the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, snow completely covered the roads. Some international roads have restrictions on the movement of trucks.

According to forecasters, snowy and frosty weather in Georgia will last until Feb. 26.
