“This is our region. We don’t want the tension between Russia and Ukraine to escalate into a new crisis. We are ready to do everything possible for this. I conveyed these messages to Putin and Zelensky. I think that both countries are aware of Turkey’s sincerity and our good intentions,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in an interview with NTV, Report informs.
“We can host the leaders of the two countries in Turkey and open the way to peace. The region has suffered greatly from instability, and this has a very negative effect on us. We don’t want more war. We consider it necessary to resolve the issue through dialogue and avoid the use of force,” the Turkish leader said.
