Erdogan: Ankara waiting for delivery of F-16s to Türkiye

Ankara is waiting for the start of the phase related to the delivery of F-16 fighter jets to Türkiye, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told reporters after the Friday prayer, Report informs.
He recalled that after Türkiye approved Sweden's membership in NATO, US President Biden gave the necessary instructions to Congress regarding the supply of F-16s. Thus, the Minister of Foreign Affairs is currently monitoring the process.
Erdogan said that Türkiye's decision was a great contribution to NATO.
