EC representative to return to Georgia to mediate in overcoming crisis

Christian Danielsson, personal Envoy of President of the European Council Charles Michel, will return to Georgia to mediate in the settlement of the political crisis in the country, Michel tweeted, Report informs referring to TASS.
“Took stock of the progress already achieved in Georgia mediation with Danielsson. Time to make the necessary compromises in the interest of the citizens of Georgia. Envoy will travel back to continue mediation,” he tweeted.
“Thank you Mr. President. This is a strong sign that the EU is not going anywhere. As we wait for Danielsson’s return, I call, once again, on all sides to put country first and work toward depolarization, compromise and unity,” Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili tweeted in response.
