An oil pumping station operated by the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in Russia's Krasnodar region has been targeted by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack, forcing the facility to shut down.
Report informs via Russian media that the incident has led to a reduction in oil flow through the pipeline, with the damaged station being bypassed to maintain some level of operation.
CPC, a joint venture involving several international oil companies and governments, has notified all its shareholders, including those from the United States and Europe, about the attack on its infrastructure.
