COVID kills 710 per day in Russia

Over the past day, medical experts recorded 25,140 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Report informs referring to Russian media.

The total number of registered cases in the country since the pandemic onset has reached 5,808,473.

To date, a total of 143,712 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 710 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 5,216,648.

More than 187.6 million people globally have contracted the virus since the onset of the pandemic. The deadly pathogen has claimed over 4.05 million lives, though unable to cope with 171.6 million patients, who managed to recover.
