Corps commander of Armenian army sacked

Armenia's President Armen Sarkissian signed a decree dismissing Grigory Khachaturov from the post of the commander of the 3d army corps, Report informs, citing Aysor.
According to the Armenian constitution, the president appoints and dismisses the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces on the recommendation of the Prime Minister.
Khachaturov is the son of Yuri Khachaturov, who served as CSTO Secretary General before being recalled and charged on the sidelines of the March 1, 2008 case.
