CEC: United Russia party keeps leading position in parliamentary elections

The United Russia party retains its leadership in the elections to the State Duma (lower house of the Federal Assembly of Russia) with 47.16% of votes in the federal district voting, Report informs referring to the Russian media.
Russia's Central Election Commission (CEC) has revealed such data after processing 60.06% of the protocols.
The Communist Party of the Russian Federation is second with 20.89%, and the Liberal Democratic Party is third with 7.9% of the votes.
According to preliminary data, A Just Russia - For Truth ranks in the top five parties with 7.54%, followed by the New People party with 5.77%.
Thus, according to preliminary information, five parties will enter the State Duma, overcoming the five percent barrier.
