The building of the residence of the Kazakh president is on fire in Almaty. Eyewitnesses are posting relevant videos on social networks.
Report informs that the fire-fighting service confirmed the information about the fire to the Interfax Kazakhstan agency.
Earlier, the Internet portal “Vlast” (Power) reported that a crowd of protesters was trying to break into the territory of the residence.
The residence is located near the building of the city administration.
Everything around is in smoke, explosions of stun grenades and shots are heard, according to the report.
