Bayraktar UAV creator becomes Turkish record holder for tax payments

The head of the board of directors of the Turkish company Baykar, which produces Bayraktar-type drones, Selcuk Bayraktar, has become Türkiye’s record holder for income tax payments in 2022, Report informs referring to Turkish media.
Bayraktar paid over 564.124 million liras (about $19 million) in income tax in 2022.
The entrepreneur who took second place on the list wished to remain anonymous.
Entrepreneur Mustafa Rahmi Koc took third place on the list; he paid over 200.757 million liras (about $7 million) in income taxes.
