Armenia and Türkiye to hold delegation-level meeting on normalization

Yerevan has officially confirmed an upcoming meeting between the special representatives of Armenia and Türkiye, Report informs, citing the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

"As part of the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Türkiye, a meeting between Ruben Rubinyan and Serdar Kılıç is planned in the coming days," the ministry said.

Earlier, Turkish media reported that the special representatives would hold their first meeting on the functioning of the Margara–Alican border checkpoint.

For the first time, Türkiye and Armenia will hold a meeting at the delegation level, Turkish channel NTV reported. The meeting is expected to take place early next week.

During the talks, the sides plan to adopt decisions on further normalization of bilateral relations and discuss the implementation of previously agreed steps. The Turkish delegation will be led by Serdar Kılıç, special representative for the normalization of relations with Armenia.
