Armed man takes six children hostage in St. Petersburg

In Russia, a gunman took six children hostage in an apartment in the suburbs of St. Petersburg, a source in the security forces told RIA Novosti.

According to Report, the Russian Interior Ministry said it was their father who locked the children in the house. The youngest child is three years old, and the oldest is 15 years old.

The man is drunk and has an ax in his hand. His wife, who could not enter the apartment, informed the police. Currently, law enforcement officers are trying to negotiate with a 38-year-old man.
