All illegal actions to receive harsh response, Tbilisi mayor warns opposition

The opposition's statements like "the government should expect many surprises in local elections" aim to disrupt stability in the country and create confusion in society, according to Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, Report informs.
While responding to the statement by a member of the United National Movement (UNM), Sopo Japaridze, Kaladze noted that calls related to a coup, as well as presenting various false information as facts, are aimed at instilling nihilism in the country and raising questions in society:
"All illegal actions will receive harsh reactions from the relevant authorities," he underlined.
The mayor added that the government is confident of winning the upcoming elections: "The elections to be held on October 4 are quite important, and I am confident that with the support of the Georgian people, we will win in all municipalities.
