Zelenskyy claims strikes on Russian port, logistics centers

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said Ukrainian forces struck a seaport terminal in Russia's Krasnodar Krai and three logistics centers in Sarapul, Kazan, and Volgograd, Report informs.

In a post on Telegram, Zelenskyy said the seaport terminal in the Krasnodar Krai is located about 270 kilometers from the front line. He also said a strike targeted an oil refinery in Russia's Volgograd region, nearly 480 kilometers from the line of combat.

Zelenskyy added that Ukrainian forces also struck three logistics centers in Sarapul, Kazan, and Volgograd, located between 500 and nearly 1,300 kilometers from the front line.

According to the Ukrainian president, the long- and medium-range strikes are part of a long-term sanctions strategy aimed at depriving the Russian military of the resources needed to continue the war.

Zelenskyy also claimed that Ukrainian forces carried out successful strikes in the Sea of Azov.

"We are defending our people and will continue to act as necessary to achieve peace," he said.
