Ushakov unaware of US inquiries about Trump-Putin conversation

Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said he is unaware of any request from the United States for a phone conversation between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Report informs via Russian media.
Ushakov told journalists, "I haven't heard anything about that," when asked whether a request for a phone call had already been made by the American side.
On September 5, President Trump announced his intention to speak with his Russian counterpart in the near future.
"Yes, I will. We've had a very good dialogue," Trump said in response to a question during a briefing at the White House about a potential conversation with Putin.
