The US authorities tackled the COVID pandemic worse than other countries, according to a research conducted by the Spanish Elcano Royal Institute in 11 countries, Report informs referring to RIA Novosti.
The respondents were asked how the authorities of a particular country, in their opinion, coped with the pandemic. They were asked to assess several countries (maximum 10 points) - Germany, Spain, Russia, China, the UK and the US.
The US had the lowest rating (4.2 points out of 10). The rest scored more than 5 points. Germany ranked first (6.5 points), Spain unexpectedly took the second place (5.9 points). They were followed by Russia (5.5), China (5.4), the UK (5.4).
