New US anti-Russian sanctions will take effect on August 26, Report informs citing the RIA Novosti.
According to the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the directive will take effect after a period of notice to Congress.
It is specified that this is necessary under the law on control of chemical and biological weapons and the ban on their combat use of 1991.
Earlier, US president Donald Trump signed a decree on the introduction of a second package of sanctions against Russia over Skripal case.
