UN: States must do everything possible to reduce tensions

The UN always supports dialogue, especially at a time of rising tensions. The UN secretary-general believes that all countries should do everything possible to reduce tensions between the US and Russia, Spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Stephane Dujarric said at a press conference on US-Russian relations, Report informs.
He noted that Antonio Guterres praised the meeting between US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov. He expressed hope that the meeting would yield positive results.
