Ukraine sees record number of COVID deaths

Over the past day, Ukrainian doctors have registered 19,120 new cases of coronavirus infection, 734 patients died from complications of the disease caused by the infection, according to the Ukraine Healthcare Ministry, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.

For the entire time since the beginning of the pandemic, 2.803 million citizens have contracted COVID, 2.39 million of which recovered and 64,936 people died.

In total, more than 16 million vaccinations have been made in Ukraine, more than 7 million citizens have received two doses of the vaccine. Over the past day, almost 255,000 people have been vaccinated.
