Trump says negotiations with Iran going very well

US President Donald Trump told reporters at Joint Base Andrews that talks with Iran are going "very well", and he hailed what he described as "very good meetings," Report informs via Al Jazeera.

The US president said Iran has "come a long way" as he spoke about the ongoing talks with Tehran.

"We hit them very hard last week," he noted.

Trump added: "The nuclearisation of Iran is very simple, and Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon."
