Sheriff's deputies shoot cyclist in Los Angeles

Los Angeles County law enforcement officers shot and killed the cyclist after the incident, said CBS News.

Report informs, citing RIA Novosti, the sheriff's office tried to stop African American cyclist from violating the rules. However, he did not obey the order and disappeared on a bicycle. When they detained him, the cyclist started arguing with the sheriff's assistants. The driver hit one of the officials. The second aide said that he saw a black man with a pistol and fired him.

According to the TV channel, the cyclist was shot several times and died at the scene. As a result of the accident, none of the law enforcement officers was injured.

Many protesters have gathered in the south of Los Angeles, where the incident took place.
