Scholz, Trump agree on war in Ukraine 'lasting far too long'

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has had a telephone conversation with US President-elect Donald Trump, Report informs via Ukrainska Pravda.
Trump and Scholz's conversation, as noted, was devoted to 'challenges to security policy in Europe.'
The two sides 'agreed that Russia's war on Ukraine has been going on for far too long and that it is essential to move as quickly as possible towards a just, equitable and enduring peace.'
At the same time, Scholz confirmed that Germany would continue to support Ukraine in its defense against Russian aggression 'as long as necessary.'
