Putin, Pezeshkian ready to hold personal meetings this year

Russian President Vladimir Putin has had a telephone conversation with the newly elected President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, Report informs referring to the Kremlin press service.
Putin congratulated Pezeshkian on his victory in the Iranian presidential elections and wished him success in his work.
“Both sides expressed satisfaction with the achieved high level of good-neighborly Russian-Iranian relations and confirmed their readiness to work closely together to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields. The leaders agreed to organize personal contacts this year,” reads the statement.
