Mike Pompeo, who headed the State Department in the administration of the previous US President Donald Trump, doesn’t rule out the possibility that he will run for the presidency in the 2024 elections, Report informs, referring to TASS.
Pompeo admitted that he is always ready to struggle, noting that he has been a part of the conservative movement for a very long time.
On Feb. 28, Donald Trump, during a speech at a conference of US conservative circles in Orlando, Florida, admitted that he might again take part in the struggle for the presidency. If he joins the race, Pompeo doesn’t plan to involve Mike Pence, who was vice president in his administration, in his campaign.
