We must be ready for a long-term conflict, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg told journalists before the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Report informs.
"We must strengthen the defence. It is necessary to send aid to Ukraine and prepare long-term sanctions. Ukraine needs military assistance. We expect our allies to support Kyiv with various weapons," he told journalists.
A meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers is being held in Brussels today.
